FAQ

Why is it priced this way?

Because the price is not for the object. It is for the time inside it.

Fifteen years in the mountain. Six months in the wind. Forty days in hand. The wood is not manufactured. It is allowed. The grain is not designed. It is witnessed.

We do not discount. We do not run sales. The price is the price because the time is the time. If you are looking for something fast and replaceable, we are not the right place. If you are looking for one thing that will outlast your mood, you will understand the number.

What is six-path wood?

It is a tree that grows slowly in the high mountains of Wutai, China. On each branch, six natural ridges run from root to tip like quiet rivers. We do not carve them. We do not paint them. We simply do not discard them.

The wood is warm, dense, and naturally fragrant. It is not CITES-listed. It is not endangered. It is simply not common.

How long does shipping take?

Six to eight days, door to door, from Chengdu to anywhere in the United States.

We use YunExpress, a dedicated cross-border line that handles both shipping and customs. You will receive a tracking number the moment your piece leaves our hands. There is no separate customs process for you to worry about.

Will I pay extra tax or duty?

No.

The price you see includes everything — shipping, tax, and duty. There is no surprise at the door. We believe the experience should be quiet from start to finish.

What if the size does not fit?

We accept returns within seven days, provided the tag has not been removed and the piece has not been worn.

If you are between sizes, choose the larger one. The wood has weight. You will want to feel it. A bracelet that moves too freely forgets it is there. One that sits with intention reminds you.

What is patina? What is bolidi? What is yuhua?

The West calls it patina — a word that sounds like aging, like damage, like something defending itself.

We call it bolidi. The surface deepens. The color moves from pale gold to honey, then to amber. The grain does not disappear. It becomes more visible.

Eventually, if you stay with it long enough, it arrives at yuhua — a jade-like warmth that seems to glow from within. Not old. Not worn. Just ready.

This is not a promise. It is a possibility. The wood will become what your time together makes it.

Do I need to meditate to own one?

No.

You do not need to be a practitioner. You do not need to sit cross-legged. You do not need to be on a spiritual journey.

This is a companion. It can be a meditation anchor, a quiet object for your desk, a stress stone for your pocket, or simply a piece of jewelry that happens to be warm. The wood does not check your credentials. It only responds to touch.

Wear it when you need to remember you are not in a hurry. Carry it when you need something solid in your hand. Leave it on your desk when you need to look at something that does not blink. There is no wrong way to keep it near you.

How do I care for it?

Wear it. Touch it. Let it meet your skin.

In the first thirty days, you may wear a glove if you wish. It is not required. It simply shortens the time between pale and honey.

Keep it dry. Wood does not fear water, but it does not welcome it either. If it gets wet, dry it gently. If it gets dusty, wipe it with a soft cloth. Do not oil it. Do not polish it. The wood knows what it is doing. You are only there to witness.

What if I simply do not like it?

Return it within seven days. We will send you a full refund. We do not ask questions. We do not make it difficult.

We believe the right object chooses its owner. If this one is not yours, we respect that. The wood will wait for someone else.

Is it real wood?

Yes. Every piece.

If you look closely, you will see the grain is not symmetrical. It is not perfect. It is not trying to be. That is how you know it is real.

What arrives in the box?

An outer box, an inner wooden drawer with a tassel, a linen pouch, a brand card, a care manual, a spare cord, a stringing tool, and a pair of gloves.

We do not believe in unboxing as performance. We believe in it as a threshold. The moment you open the drawer, the object is no longer ours. It is simply waiting for you to pick it up.
