The bracelet should not grip. It should rest. If you are aware of it every minute, it is too tight. If it slides past your hand when you lower your arm, it is too loose. The right size is the one you forget until you want to remember it.
See all four sizes in The Meditation Series.
Wrap a measuring tape around your wrist, just below the bone. Do not pull tight. The tape should sit the way the bracelet will sit—close, but not pressing. Record the number in inches or centimeters.
Add half an inch, or 1.2 centimeters. This is your bracelet size. The extra space allows the beads to move. It allows air. It allows the wood to breathe against your skin.

12mm beads — wrist up to 6.7" / 17cm. Light, quiet, almost forgotten once the counting begins. For smaller wrists or those who prefer discretion. The six ridges are visible, but subtle. The weight is present, but gentle.
15mm beads — wrist up to 7.1" / 18cm. The most versatile. A weight that reminds you without demanding. The six ridges are clear. The presence is unmistakable, but not insistent.
18mm beads — wrist up to 7.9" / 20cm. Substantial. The beads have presence. You begin to feel the six-path wood as something alive. The ridges are wide enough to catch light. The weight is enough to settle the hand.
20mm beads — wrist up to 8.7" / 22cm. The fullest expression. Heavy enough to settle the hand. The six ridges are widest here, most visible, most distinct. This is the size we reach for when we want to see what the mountain spent fifteen years growing.
Choose the larger. The six-path wood reveals its grain more fully as the beads grow. A 20mm bead carries more presence, more weight, more of what this material can become. The 12mm is subtle—quiet to the point of disappearing. We recommend the 18mm or 20mm if you want to see what this tree can do.
The wood does not shrink. Your wrist does not shrink. The space between them is where the practice lives.

The size you choose is not permanent. You can wear a 12mm on quiet days and a 20mm when you need to feel the weight of something. The wood does not mind. It only waits.
